Workshop #1: Discover Biblical Examples of God Providing Resources for New Movements


In the Catalytic approach, like in Philippi and Corinth, we are trusting God for the resources and the manpower for new movements.  Just as with Lydia, the jailer, Crispus and Titus Justus, the most important resources that are needed are special individuals whose hearts God has prepared.

When you think about starting a ministry in a new location, what can you learn from the apostles on launching a new movement from their experience in Corinth?   (Remember what you learned earlier from Paul and Silas as well.)

 


Assignment: Read Acts 18 and answer the following questions:

 

As you just saw in Acts, God is already at work preparing resources for new movements.  Next you’ll take time considering what resources you need specifically for launching movements in your scope.
