Workshop #3: Identifying Barriers to Student-led

Assignment: Read the article “What is Student-led” and list out the differences between the role of the coach and the responsibilities of the student leader.

Assignment: Answer the follow questions:

What do you believe about students and young Christians and their ability to lead? How would you evaluate your belief regarding what God wants to do through ordinary students?

What are you doing that may hinder the goal of student-led in the following areas:

working with students who are ready and committed to building a movement?
helping students keep their focus on Win, Build, Send?
empowering students to launch, build and lead local movements?

What do you see as the obstacles to students owning and building multiplying movements?

What actions steps will you take to remove the barriers you’ve identified?

This concludes the Foundation section of the training. In the Launch section, you’ll gain practical foundations and skills in how to launch student-led movements.
