Workshop #4: Learning from the Apostles: Biblical case study from Acts 16

Take time now to read and study to discover principles from Acts 16 that will apply to you in the catalytic approach. As you study this passage, look for:

How did the Apostles discover that God’s promises were true?
What can you learn from Paul and Silas as they entered into these promises?
What are some key principles?

Assignment: Write out the key principles you discover and consider how you can apply them to your context.

Assignment: Read the article: Core Catalytic principles and note any principles listed here that you missed in your initial study of the passage.

For further study: Look at the church in Antioch on Paul and Barnabas’ first missionary journey found in Acts 13-15.

You’ve just gotten your first glimpse of what Catalytic ministry is all about. The next section will go more in detail about what it means to work catalytically.
