GOD’S PROMISES & MY VISION
Key Idea: Discovering God’s heart and His promises are important because movements are built by faith in God and what He is doing to exalt His name among the nations.
Learning objectives:
- Develop convictions about God’s role in launching new movements in new locations.
- Develop and learn to communicate your vision for what God has promised to do in your unreached scope.
- Begin to discover core principles for launching and growing new movements and leaders based on the example of the Apostles and the book of Acts.
The Catalytic strategy is not about going to new places to “make it happen.” We ‘go’ to discover where God is working and to join Him there. We are not talking about making ‘more bricks with less straw’ by launching and building more movements ourselves. What we mean is actively trusting God by simply empowering those God has raised up locally to build movements.
God is already working to prepare people and many other resources for movements before we ever explore a new city or university!
